With a 16-liter base volume that the modular system expands to 20 liters, the Backland UL flexibly adapts to your objectives – when needed, the crampon compartment simply becomes part of the main compartment. You can reach skins and crampons in their dedicated compartment without taking the pack off, and the Secure Speed Ski Carry with its purpose-made hook makes transitions especially quick: attaching and retrieving your skis works right on your back. The lightweight, TPU-coated polyamide ripstop fabric shrugs off rock contact, while the integrated ice axe and pole carry and the storage for standard safety equipment keep all the essentials at hand. Add a convenient helmet net and space for a hydration flask, and you are set.
