They ensure a high level of comfort wide, padded shoulder and hip straps and the close-fitting, full-contact back reinforced with metal struts of the unique Swisswool 3D Back System, which distributes the load balanced across the back. For optimal climate regulation on the contact surfaces, the back, shoulder and hip straps are lined with a Swisswool wool fleece, which reliably absorbs water vapor and dries quickly.
The Peak 42S also scores with a separate safety compartment and numerous attachment options for ropes and ice axes , helmet, skis, snowboard and poles as well as a side crampons compartment. In the spirit of sustainability, the two main outer materials are made from 100% and 50% recycled polyamide, making the backpack extremely robust, durable and long-lasting. The Peak 42S brings great freedom on the mountain and is a reliable companion for every mountain or ski tour.
