The Salomon Escape Sport is a versatile cross-country pole that combines lightness and comfort with reliable performance – perfect for beginners and recreational cross-country skiers who enjoy both classic routes and tours off the beaten path. The robust composite shaft tapers from approx. 16 mm at the top to approx. 11 mm at the tip and ensures durability even in changing conditions.

The EVA foam grip ("EVA Escape") sits comfortably and pleasantly in your hand, and the wide, easily adjustable Powerstrap wrist strap gives you a secure hold during the push-off. The touring basket offers better support in soft snow, while the robust, wear-resistant steel tip bites reliably into the ground. At approx. 235 g per pole, the Escape Sport stays pleasantly light – and visually, it fits seamlessly into Salomon's Escape series.

Classic: Height x 0.85, for competitions x 0.83 (poles must reach under the armpits).
Nordic Cruiser: Like classic cross-country skiing, minus 5 centimetres.
Skating: Body height x 0.9 (poles should reach under the chin).
Roller skiing: As in skating, plus the standing height of the roller skis.
