An ultra-light racing pole with titanium tips: the KV+ Tornado Light Titan gets almost everything out of the 100% carbon shaft of the Tornado Light family.
The shaft is made entirely of carbon, weighs only around 62 g per metre and measures 16.5 mm at the top and 8.5 mm at the bottom. An additional carbon wrap in the lower section (Phyton Twist Tech) makes the tube stiffer and more impact resistant exactly where the load is highest during a race. You get a pole that stands firm the moment it is planted and converts your power into propulsion without losses.
You hold on to a Falcon Clip grip with thermo cork cover: the strap's fixing point sits in line with the shaft axis, which makes the build-up of pressure more direct. The Elite Clip strap (M/L) is released and closed with one movement.
On top of that comes the QCD quick-change system: racing basket, large basket for soft snow or roller ski ferrule are swapped in seconds, without tools and without glue. The titanium tips are lighter than carbide and reduce the swing weight at the bottom end.
