Atomic Backland FR SQS Poles

With the Backland FR SQS you get Atomic's freeride telescopic pole in the version with an additional safety system. Like its namesake on skis, it was developed together with freeski legend Chris Benchetler and is the ideal companion for Bent Chetler and Backland skis – for all freeriders who want to travel light, agile and with extra safety in the backcountry.

The lightweight aluminum alloy shaft is designed for stability at low weight – around 290 g per pole. The new ergonomic grip with its non-slip profile sits securely in your hand, and the SQS (Safety Quick Release System) instantly releases the strap from the grip under strong tension to prevent injuries – for example if the pole gets caught in a fall or on a branch. The Power Lock lets you adjust the length from 110 to 130 cm, and the integrated screwdriver helps with quick binding adjustments on the go. The 85 mm powder basket provides flotation in deep snow, while the carbide tip protects against rocks and holds on hard ground.
