For this high-quality touring ski, a new, more environmentally friendly design was created based on a scientific life cycle assessment, which minimizes CO2-equivalent emissions (compare with the Backland 85 from 2021) by 30% without sacrificing a single gram of performance. More raw materials with lower CO2 emissions are used, i.e. more wood, but less fiberglass and resin, as well as waste-reducing side panels. The result is a lighter, more stable ski that performs at its best on any terrain. With the wider 88mm waist and the slanted HRZN 3D tip, plenty of buoyancy in powder is guaranteed. The All-Terrain Profile ensures a changed thickness, more torsional rigidity and an optimized flex pattern - and therefore more stability and a maximum of versatility.
