The Atomic Backland 86 SL 26/27 is the superlight all-rounder for full-day missions: built to fly up the skin track and rip on the way down. At around 1150 g at 172 cm, you save energy with every step without giving up downhill stability. Powder, hardpack or groomed runs – this touring ski feels at home in any terrain and gives you the confidence to explore further and faster. Its lower-impact design uses lower-carbon raw materials and reduces production waste, cutting CO₂ emissions by 30% (compared with the Backland 85, 2021).

The poplar and caruba woodcore keeps the ski light and nimble, while the Carbon Backbone adds targeted stiffness. The All-Terrain Profile uses a natural wood-to-fiberglass ratio to create a ski shape that climbs better on the ascent and descends with more control on hard snow. The HRZN 3D tip adds surface area for more float in powder while reducing swing weight – for easier, faster, more powerful skiing. Add a matching Atomic PreFit skin and your setup is complete.
