The Salomon RS8 + Shift Skate is a lightweight, versatile and fast skating ski that is pleasantly easy to handle. The robust, low-weight Stringer core creates the ideal balance between stability and speed when skating – and at around 1300 g per pair (without binding, at 179 cm) the ski stays remarkably light.

The G5 universal base with World Cup grinding is a fast racing base for different snow types, while the 44-43-45 mm sidecut ensures precise tracking and a stable push-off. The stable, lightweight Prolink Shift binding is simply placed on the baseplate and can be shifted – for more grip or better glide, as needed. Compatible with Prolink, NNN and Turnamic boots. Ideal for training, long-distance skiing and ambitious recreational sport.
