KV+ Tornado Pink Junior Poles

A first proper racing pole in pink – that is how getting started on the tracks becomes real fun.

The KV+ Tornado Pink Junior Poles is a cross-country pole for children and juniors, matched to the strength of young skiers. The shaft is made from a carbon mix with 30 % carbon content and a weight of 84 g/m – light enough for a clean arm swing and still sturdy enough for everyday training.

Stiffness and swing both sit in the middle range: stiffness is rated Medium (7-10 kg) and swing Medium (2-5 cm) as well. The result is balanced, easy-to-control behaviour that lets technique develop cleanly in classic as well as in skating.

The Tornado Pink Junior comes with the Elite C Grip, the Evo Clip hand strap and Forza Tips. You click the strap in and out with one movement – handy when gloves need changing along the way. The pole is available in lengths from 90 to 150 cm in 2.5 cm increments, so there is a suitable length for every body height.

Cross Country Pole Length Information

Classic: Height x 0.85, for competitions x 0.83 (poles must reach under the armpits).
Nordic Cruiser: Like classic cross-country skiing, minus 5 centimetres.
Skating: Body height x 0.9 (poles should reach under the chin).
Roller skiing: As in skating, plus the standing height of the roller skis.
