The pole World Cup wins are made with: the KV+ Tornado Plus is the racing model built from 100% ultra high modulus carbon.
The shaft weighs around 66 g per metre and measures 16.5 mm at the top and 8.5 mm at the bottom. It is built for maximum stiffness: nothing gives way on the plant, your push lands straight at the tip. In the lower third the PTT reinforcement (Phyton Twist Tech) – an additional wrapped carbon band – protects the tube exactly where most poles break in mass starts and sprints. The Tornado Plus was developed together with World Cup athletes.
The Falcon Clip grip with thermo cork cover places the strap's fixing point in line with the shaft axis so that power is transferred without a sideways tilting moment. The Elite Clip strap in M/L opens and closes within a second.
At the bottom the QCD quick-change system works with the small Tornado racing basket (8.5 mm). A large basket for soft snow or a roller ski ferrule for summer training is mounted in seconds – no glue, no tools.
