World Cup hardware: the KV+ Storm succeeds the legendary Tornado Blue and is KV+ in its most uncompromising form.
The shaft is made of 100% high modulus carbon and measures 16.5 mm at the top and 8.5 mm at the bottom. The result is an extremely light, very stiff pole that turns your pressure into propulsion without any delay – exactly what you want to feel in double poling and in a skate sprint. The glossy pearl blue finish makes it clear what you are holding, even on the start line.
On top sits the Falcon Clip grip with a synthetic cork cover. Its trick: the strap fixing point sits exactly in the centre of the pole shaft, so your force goes straight into the pole instead of into a twisting moment. Add the Elite Clip racing strap, which you release in a second – for skiathlon, biathlon or a quick drink stop in training.
The baskets are quick-change: small racing baskets are fitted, while larger baskets for soft snow and roller ski ferrules for summer are available separately and swap over in seconds. Available in 2.5 cm increments from 130 to 185 cm.
