The Salomon Escape Alu is a touring cross-country pole for sporty adventurers who want easy access to performance in their outdoor activities. The shaft made of recycled aluminium (16/11) is robust and durable while reducing the impact on the environment – proof that sustainability and longevity can go hand in hand.

The EVA Escape grip sits comfortably in your hand and provides comfort even on longer tours. The steel tip bites reliably into the snow, while the touring basket gives you secure support for your push-off even in softer snow. The pole is available in lengths from 135 to 165 cm in 5 cm increments – so you can find exactly the right length for your height.

Cross Country Pole Length Information

Classic: Height x 0.85, for competitions x 0.83 (poles must reach under the armpits).
Nordic Cruiser: Like classic cross-country skiing, minus 5 centimetres.
Skating: Body height x 0.9 (poles should reach under the chin).
Roller skiing: As in skating, plus the standing height of the roller skis.
