KV+ Simano Poles

Light, straightforward and built for plenty of kilometres – the KV+ Simano is the pole for everyday cross-country skiing.

At 89 g per metre the Simano is one of the lighter poles in its class. The shaft with 30% carbon makes that possible: it takes weight out of the construction while still giving the pole the stiffness you need for a clean push. Over a long session every gram saved makes itself felt in your arms.

The grip measures 16.5 mm in diameter and sits pleasantly slim in the hand, while the tip has a diameter of 10 mm. The Simano is available in black and in lengths from 125 to 170 cm in 5 cm steps – suitable for classic and skating alike, depending on the length you choose.

Cross Country Pole Length Information

Classic: Height x 0.85, for competitions x 0.83 (poles must reach under the armpits).
Nordic Cruiser: Like classic cross-country skiing, minus 5 centimetres.
Skating: Body height x 0.9 (poles should reach under the chin).
Roller skiing: As in skating, plus the standing height of the roller skis.
