Racing carbon at a sensible price – the Bora is the pole that simply refuses to break.
The KV+ Bora is the budget-friendly alternative to the Tornado Plus and still a genuine race pole. Its shaft is made from 100% high modulus carbon, tapering from 16.5 mm at the top to 8.5 mm at the bottom. Additional carbon bands along the entire length make it stiff and remarkably tough – there is a reason cross-country skiers rate the Bora as exceptionally break-resistant.
At around 60 grams per metre it sits almost at the level of the top models. Up top you get the Falcon Clip handle (16.5 mm) covered with synthetic cork for maximum wear resistance, with the strap fixing point placed exactly in the centre of the shaft – so your power runs straight into the pole. The Elite Clip strap clicks in and out in a second, with no hook-and-loop fiddling.
The small quick-changing baskets swap without tools, and larger baskets for soft snow are available separately. Available from 130 to 185 cm in 2.5 cm increments.
