Rossignol Escaper Tour Poles

The Escaper Tour are ski poles made for the backcountry and the resort alike. The lightweight, durable aluminium shaft measures 16 mm in diameter. The long foam Touring Grip allows multiple hand positions and is topped by a wide upper handle.

When hiking or climbing on skins you can grip higher or lower depending on the slope, and the wide top handle also lets you operate your heel lifts. The rotating powder baskets adapt to uneven terrain, with 85 mm Free baskets and 60 mm Regular baskets included. Quick-release safety straps let the poles go in a fall or an avalanche. The steel tip bites into hard snow and ice.

Cross Country Pole Length Information

Classic: Height x 0.85, for competitions x 0.83 (poles must reach under the armpits).
Nordic Cruiser: Like classic cross-country skiing, minus 5 centimetres.
Skating: Body height x 0.9 (poles should reach under the chin).
Roller skiing: As in skating, plus the standing height of the roller skis.
