Scarpa Rapid XT GTX Women

With the new Rapid XT GTX, Scarpa presents a lightweight approach shoe whose construction, appearance, and weight are less reminiscent of your running shoe than the regular Rapid, but more of your new approach favorite.

It is ideal for technical and demanding approaches as well as easy ridge scrambling. Thanks to the decent heel counter and anti-scree rubber, you are also protected on the descent. The lacing is not quite as deep as on the Mescalito or other Scarpa approach shoes, but still deep enough for decent precision. The Gore-Tex® membrane ensures that damp grass doesn't reach your feet early in the morning, and the shoe can handle wet mud no matter how hard you walk.

With its snug fit, comfortable padding on the tongue and upper, and cushioning midsole, it will guide you through even hours of hiking. On the trail, the Vibram® Megagrip outsole with climbing zone unfolds its full potential.
