Hanwag Makra Pro GTX Women - A light and stable all-rounder for demanding mountain tours - with crampons support. PU in the heel ensures perfect cushioning, EVA in the forefoot area for precision when starting.

The Makra Pro GTX is suitable for demanding mountain tours with glacier passages as well as for easier mountain and rock tours in summer. The light and stable all-rounder is equipped with a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane and durable Perwanger upper leather. A combination of PU, TPU and EVA is used for the light but particularly stable midsole. The Vibram Makra outsole offers excellent grip.

“Hanwag 2 Zone Lock” with a mechanical clamp ensures improved heel hold. In contrast to a conventional clamp hook, the mechanical clamp blocks reliably and can no longer slip after fixing - without manual intervention. A feature of the Makra family is the optimized Ghilly lacing up to the toe area - the laces are pulled through textile loops. The foot also has good support in the front area and in a half-height model and you stand stable in the shoe. The Alpine Wide last offers a slightly wider forefoot area for more comfort - but this does not mean that the shoe loses in climbing performance and precision when starting.
