Petzl Leopard Crampons LLF are ultra-light aluminium crampons designed for ski touring and approaches across snowfields. Their lightweight construction with Cord-Tec linkage (a thin yet very strong HDPE cord) keeps the weight on your harness low and allows the crampons to fold down extremely small in your pack – ideal for long climbs, carry sections and short but exposed snow slopes on alpine missions.
The ten-point layout is optimised to provide secure footing on firm snow while still allowing a natural walking motion. With two binding options – Leverlock Fil for boots with front and rear welts, and Flexlock for boots without welts – the Leopard Crampons fit most touring boots, hiking boots and light mountaineering boots. Thanks to the Alpen Adapt system you can swap heel pieces, Cord-Tec connection and bindings to fine-tune the crampons for different setups, giving you a highly versatile, weight-saving solution when you want to move fast and light without cutting corners on security.
