Atomic Live Shield Shorts

The Atomic Live Shield Shorts are the right choice for all skiers who want dependable protection in training and racing without giving up freedom of movement. Whether you are attacking a hard gate course or charging down the piste, these protector shorts shield your tailbone exactly where crashes and gate hits hurt most – with a profile so slim you will barely notice them under your ski pants.

This is made possible by the ultra-light, three-layer multi-density foam in the protection pads: soft on the inside and firmer on the outside, it gradually breaks down impact energy before it reaches your body – certified to EN 1621-1:2012, Type B, Level 1. The shorts themselves are made from breathable, stretchy high-end fabric that responds to your body heat thanks to Active Thermo Fit, feeling supportive but never restrictive. Since the tailbone pads are removable, you can adjust the level of protection to your activity and training intensity at any time.
