The Alpina Pizi Junior is the ski helmet for those first winters on the mountain. It's light, sits securely and is built so your child can put it on and take it off unaided – which saves a few minutes every morning at ski school. The colour range runs from understated to bold, so the little ones actually want to wear it.
Beneath the ceramic-coated surface sits an in-mold construction: the polycarbonate outer shell is fused to the Hi-EPS core over a large area under heat and pressure, and that core absorbs the impact energy. At around 380 grams the helmet stays comfortably light for young necks. The Run System Ergo Snow dial has a grippy two-component surface that works even with ski gloves, so the helmet grows along over several seasons. Inside there's a soft one-piece liner that can be removed and includes an integrated neck warmer. The Ergomatic buckle with its red push button engages in multiple steps and releases at the touch of a button.
