The Atomic Backland FR 32+ is the large-volume touring backpack for freeriders who need to carry more gear on long tours and multi-day missions. Like its smaller sibling, it was developed with input from Atomic pro-team skiers and experienced mountain guides like Mathieu Navillod – with a clear focus on function, adaptability and sustainable materials.
The volume adapts to your tour: the removable lid pocket and the expandable roll-top module create extra capacity when the tour gets longer. Your avalanche equipment sits in a dedicated compartment, always within reach, while two-sided access – from the front or through the back panel – gets you into the main compartment quickly. Multiple ski carry options (diagonal and A-frame), carries for rope and ice axe, and the external daisy chain system with elastic cord and Duraflex hooks make the pack extremely versatile – you can even attach a sleep system for overnight trips. The Backland FR 32+ is made from MIPAN regen recycled nylon certified to the Global Recycled Standard.
