S.Café® is a technical fiber composite that contains coffee grounds (waste product). It utilizes the natural properties of the coffee grounds and has a naturally odor-inhibiting effect.

Since 2011, Schöffel has been a member of the Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) and has consistently pursued the goal of ensuring fair production conditions for his partners. The project 'VerPlaPos' looks at the consumer reactions to plastics and its avoidance at the point of sale (PoS), coordinated by the city of Straubing as one of the network partners. Schöffel is the practice partner of the textile project. This project investigates how buying decisions at the PoS can prevent the generation of plastic waste.
Schöffel is a member of the European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA). This initiative by the European outdoor industry has committed itself to the protection and preservation of endangered areas, animals and plants.
