Zipps Ziehklinge Alpin/Nordic 8mm

The Zipps Ziehklinge Alpin+Nordic 8mm is a sturdy scraper made of high-quality plexiglass. At 8 mm thick it stays stiff and sits firmly in your hand. It suits all types of skis as well as snowboards. One rounded corner also works as a groove scraper.

Before waxing you clean the base with it, after waxing you scrape off the excess wax. The rounded corner clears the wax out of the centre groove of cross-country skis. When the edge gets dull, simply sharpen it again with fine sandpaper. That keeps the scraper in service for many seasons.
