Black Diamond Expedition 3 Whippet

The Black Diamond Expedition 3 Whippet is a ski touring pole with an integrated self-arrest pick for exposed terrain. In an emergency the pick on the grip helps you stop a fall on a steep slope. You have extra security on ski mountaineering tours and in steep couloirs.

The three-section aluminium shaft adjusts continuously from 100 to 140 cm with dual FlickLock closures. The extended EVA grip lets you choke up on traverses, and the rubber beak on the grip helps adjust your bindings. An ice scraper on the grip top and the 100 mm powder basket complete the package.
