The Fischer Transalp 98 CTI is the freeride tourer of the Transalp series – made for skiers who earn their turns on the climb and then want to enjoy the descent in open terrain to the fullest. With a 99 mm waist it delivers excellent float in powder and variable snow, yet remains agile and playful enough for tight couloirs and tree runs.
Fischer relies on the proven Sandwich Sidewall construction with the Ultra Light Woodcore made of paulownia wood. The Shaped Ti technology adds stability and damping on the descent, while carbon fibers and the Air Tec layup keep the weight at around 1,500 g per ski – an impressive figure for a ski of this width that keeps longer climbs realistic.
