Atomic Backland Summit 12 BR - Light and stable: The Atomic Backland Summit 12 BR is an all-round touring binding for passionate ski tourers and any terrain. Setting the release value to 12 on the heel offers reliable handling, maximum safety and top performance. The AutoFlex system has a spring under the heel mechanism that automatically allows 5mm of play between the toe and heel during swing. The result is an easy-to-ride binding with some elasticity, which supports the natural flex of the ski while increasing cushioning and safety while skiing. Thanks to the patented step-in aid, the shoe is automatically positioned correctly for clicking in and the climbing aid can be easily adjusted to three walking levels with the ski pole: 0°, 7° or 13°. There are also touring stoppers and a unique closure system with which you can easily switch from ascent to descent mode. With the Alu/PA Pin Toe and Heel, high-quality PA material reinforced with fiberglass ensures low weight - for easy, efficient ascent and at the same time stability and reliability on the way down into the valley.
