Ortovox Probe Alu 280

The Ortovox Probe Alu 280 is an avalanche probe made from 7075 T6 aluminium for fast and reliable pinpointing after an avalanche burial. Its PFA quick-tension system allows the probe to be assembled and tensioned quickly, an important advantage when every second matters.

The steel cable tension system keeps the segments securely connected. The construction is designed for dependable probing in compact snow and is complemented by practical markings and rescue-focused details. The probe is therefore a core part of a complete avalanche emergency kit.
