The KV+ Base Insert and Nut upgrades your cross-country poles with an 8.5 mm shaft diameter to the KV+ QCD quick-change system. From then on you can swap tips or baskets in seconds, with no glue and no heat required. It is the right choice for athletes who want to adapt their setup to the conditions instead of the other way round. Delivery is by the pair so both poles get the same treatment.

The base insert is set into the lower end of the shaft while the nut forms the connection to the attachment. After that, all KV+ QCD baskets and tips become interchangeable, from the small racing basket to the rollerski tip. You no longer need two pairs of poles for winter and summer, just the matching attachment. Do check that your shaft really measures 8.5 mm at the tip before ordering.
