The wind and waterproof high-performance membrane Dermizax®EV from Toray is lined with fine merino wool, which has been verified according to the Ortovox Wool Promise, on areas of the body that are particularly sensitive to cold, which guarantees optimum heat retention and a comfortable fit. The function of the 3L Deep Shell line is also geared towards freeriding: the loosely cut 3L Deep Shell Jacket offers comprehensive protection with width-adjustable hems, a removable snow guard, a high collar and an adjustable storm hood. There is enough space for important things in the large front pockets, while an integrated mobile phone pocket made of merino mesh protects the battery. The 3L Deep Shell Pants have ergonomic grip extensions on the thigh pockets to allow quick access to the integrated avalanche transceiver pocket with light carabiner. Particularly long 2-way zips on the 3L Deep Shell Bib Pants ensure variable ventilation and make it easy for men and women to slip in and out.
