The Snowline Chainsen Trail are pull-on shoe chains: you slip them over your normal winter or hiking shoes and instantly get far more grip under the sole. On packed snow, iced-over forest roads and slick traverses that is the difference between careful sliding and relaxed walking.

Because you only put them on when the ground calls for it, they spend the rest of the time folded up in your backpack. For winter hikes, hut approaches or the daily round through the village they are the most straightforward solution – no tools, no re-lacing, just pull them over.
