The Puez Aqua Jacket is a lightweight hard shell jacket made of 2.5-layer ripstop fabric with a waterproof Powertext® membrane, which consists of 57 percent recycled materials.
With a water column of 10,000 millimeters, the material is reliably waterproof: The water column describes the pressure that is needed before water can penetrate through the fabric. Nevertheless, the jacket remains extremely breathable with 10,000 g/m²/24h: This means that 10 liters of water vapor per square meter can evaporate within 24 hours - the jacket promises pleasant wearing comfort even during strenuous activities.
The design as well as the features of the jacket are designed for full functionality for alpine hikes and trekking tours: the fully welded seams, the waterproof zips and the permanently water-repellent DWR coating reliably protect against moisture and rain. At 310 grams, which is just about the weight of two apples, the jacket is lightweight - and doesn't get in the way of a backpack even when it's not worn.
