The Scarpa Blackbird is Scarpa's most technically advanced climbing shoe, the result of six years of development. Its core is the first carbon-reinforced, 3D-moulded Pebax Rnew midsole, combining stiffness and precision with flexible support. You get a responsive, extremely stable platform for the tiniest footholds. The dual-layer microfibre upper with a perforated outer layer adapts elastically to Your foot.
The sole pairs Vibram XS Grip 2 in the forefoot with an integrated heel section made of XS Edge and XS Grip 2, plus a generous M50 toe patch for maximum grip when toe hooking. The fully integrated Z-Cord system with spring-loaded strap closure locks Your foot in evenly and precisely. PAF heel construction, PCB tension band and FWS tension deliver uncompromising power transfer from toe to heel. When You climb at Your limit, the Blackbird is Your tool for the hardest moves.
