Salewa Alpine-X Ice Axe - Salewa's Alpine-X ice ax is a lightweight hybrid ice ax for mountaineering. Thanks to its ergonomic shape, it is comfortable to hold both when climbing and descending. Its strong, aggressive steel blade penetrates steep or glacial ice particularly easily. With a sharpened shovel for effective stepping and groin chopping, as well as a straight shaft for easy insertion and secure stand construction.
