The pole is made from DAC Featherlite NSL aluminium, which is light yet exceptionally strong. An internal elastic cord of high-quality silicone keeps the pole flexible and reliable, even in cold temperatures. The kit is deliberately designed as a single main pole, since extra corner poles would have no effect on wind stability – keeping the weight down to just 340 g so it is easy to carry along.
