Alpina Versatile PRO Mips

The Alpina Versatile PRO Mips is the upgraded Versatile – for anyone who is out a lot and wants the maximum in head protection. It covers the same broad field, from piste to freeride slope to ski tour, but adds another layer in shell construction and comfort.

Instead of a single EPS density, its hybrid technology combines several EPS densities and materials so that different impact energies are absorbed in a targeted way. Add to that the MIPS system against rotational forces and Edge Protect along the lower edges. The most noticeable difference day to day is the chin closure: the magnetic Fidlock snaps shut with one hand and holds even when a crash really throws you. Inside, a thermoregulating interior with ergonomically shaped ear pads manages temperature, the ear pads come off for more air on the climb, and ventilation can be set both actively and passively.
