At the heart of the design sit a separate index finger and thumb, while the other three fingers share one compartment. The fingers warm each other and give you noticeably more protection than a classic five finger glove. Freedom of movement stays intact because index finger and thumb keep working on their own.
Inside, the Glacier is lined with soft fleece, while a wind and waterproof membrane keeps draught and wet weather outside. The palm carries a silicone print that gives you grip and pole control despite the thick insulation. The wrist strap is adjustable so you can close the cuff tightly and stop cold air from getting in. This makes the Glacier the glove for very cold training days, long tours and winter running.
