The Alpina Penken Q is the Slope's big sister: 175 millimetres of frame width, a 100-millimetre lens height and fit index L make it the first choice if other goggles feel too small or you simply want more field of view. Its range runs from the piste to ski touring and the freeride slope.
The Quattroflex lens is tinted ruby red and reduces the blue component of visible light so that snow structures and edges become visible earlier. A built-in polarisation film filters out the scattered light reflected off the snow surface – a noticeable difference especially in backlight. The cylindrical double lens with Doublelens Thermoblock breaks the cold bridge, the Fogstop coating keeps the inside free of a moisture film and the Airframe Venting System keeps air moving through vents at the sides and bottom.
