The Tatonka Hang Loose RFID Block neck wallet features an integrated, TÜV-certified NFC/RFID blocker. Credit cards and ID documents equipped with RFID chips are safely stored in the Hang Loose RFID Block, as the integrated CRYPTALLOY foil blocks radio waves and thus protects against data theft. Hang Loose can be worn on a belt, over the shoulder, or as a wallet, and in addition to two angled credit card slots, it offers a transparent passport compartment as well as a zippered coin and banknote pocket. The neck wallet is also partially made from recycled materials.
In all of its RFID-blocking products, Tatonka uses CRYPTALLOY foil. This provides maximum shielding across all relevant RFID frequency ranges (from 100 kHz to 4 GHz, covering low, high, and ultra-high frequency ranges). In addition, the protective foil disrupts “radio communication” through frequency shifting. The effectiveness of the CRYPTALLOY foil has been tested and certified by TÜV Saarland.
The manufacturer of the foil, Kryptronic Technologies Munich, has confirmed and certified Tatonka’s proper use of the material in all RFID-blocking products.
