The shoe is from the Radical Derived from the Pro model and combining the two opposing worlds of freedom of movement on the ascent and rigidity on the descent. In walk mode, the shaft and shell are separated from each other in order to be able to climb efficiently with 60 degrees of shaft rotation with free, resistance-free mobility. The low weight of 1520 g (size 26.5) and the flexible tongue construction made of two different high-tech plastics enable you to walk effortlessly and naturally, even on steep terrain. The new optional thermoformable inner shoe offers you stability and comfort with the requirement for a perfect fit straight out of the box. So you can also tackle long tours with many meters of altitude.
Once you reach the top, the Radical Boot becomes a stable downhill skier with the best power transmission in just one movement thanks to the Hoji Single Lock system. If you flip the lever of the ski-walk mechanism, the system is put under tension and the shoe is locked in a position of 11 degrees forward angle. Shaft and shell form an inseparable and form-fitting unit, which makes this revolutionary system completely free of play. A unique selling point on the market for precise, efficient skiing at the highest level that is otherwise only known from thoroughbred alpine shoes.
In contrast to the Radical Pro, the ski-walk mechanism on the Radical is not equipped with the finely adjustable buckles and the Strap connected, but these must be closed separately for the descent. They grip the foot firmly and securely in order to bring an all-round convincing downhill performance to the ski with a flex index of 110 even in demanding terrain.
The new Radical is available with all pin, frame and and hybrid bindings compatible. It is made of dynamic polyurethane and is entirely made in Italy.
