The mesh lining on the breast pockets and ventilation zips under the arms provide additional ventilation, while fine merino wool on the inside ensures a pleasant feeling on the skin. the membrane-lined loden inserts also protect the chin area from wind and weather.

SwissWool: the virgin wool used for the loden comes from regional production in Switzerland. For this purpose, SwissWool has set up collection points in many Swiss Alpine valleys, some of which are remote, where a fair price for raw wool is guaranteed. As a result, the often unprofitable sheep farming and wool production has experienced a renaissance. After weighing, the raw wool is washed and processed. Ortovox then ensures the unique design and functionality in the manufacture of the end product.
