Ortovox Pro Alu III + Pocket Spike - In the newly launched ORTOVOX classic, we use the most innovative materials and the most modern manufacturing processes to achieve the perfect weight-stiffness ratio. Stabilization ribs and high side walls make the anodized blade stiff, the integrated handle holder makes it easy to pack. Thanks to the new quick-release fastener, the blade and the groove-shaped telescopic handle can be put together with a flick of the wrist. The new T-Grip Pro is revolutionary. Not only can it be switched between left-handed and right-handed people - above all it forms the basis for the economical clearing function. One hand can be held on the long side of the handle, which serves as an ergonomic pull lever, while the other hand has maximum grip on the rubberized grip zone of the handle.

Our new POCKET SPIKE is as simple as it is ingenious! Carried most of the time in a rucksack (or in a trouser pocket - hence the name), the POCKET SPIKE comes into its own when things get dicey on the last few meters to the summit or in an uncomfortable traverse on steep terrain. It can be attached to the handle of the PRO ALU III shovel in two easy steps, thus offering additional protection. The POCKET SPIKE consists of two parts: The snappy forged pick made of AL 7075 T6 and the handle spike, which is attached in place of the shovel blade. Both parts can be pushed together without sharp edges and weigh just 95 grams. Suitable for tours where you're looking forward to a little extra support over the last few meters.
