Lighter, stiffer, no compromises – the KV+ Tornado Light Carbon Titan is the flagship of the KV+ pole range.
The shaft is made of 100% ultra high modulus carbon and weighs only around 62 g per metre, measuring 16.5 mm at the top and 8.5 mm at the bottom. The result is an extremely stiff pole that transfers your push to the tip without any delay while still swinging calmly. An additional wrapped carbon band (Phyton Twist Tech) reinforces the lower section of the shaft against impacts in mass starts.
The heart of the pole is the Carbon Clip grip: the only true carbon handles on the market, covered with thermo cork and around 40% lighter than a conventional plastic grip. The Elite Clip strap can be released and clipped back in within seconds without losing its alignment.
The QCD quick-change system lets you swap baskets without tools and without glue: small racing basket for hard tracks, large basket for soft snow, roller ski ferrule for summer training. The titanium tips are lighter than carbide and take extra swing weight out of the bottom end.
