The Salomon S/RACE Classic is a cross-country boot for advanced and expert skiers in the classic style. The Second Skin construction connects the lacing system directly to the outer shell of the boot: pull on the laces and the boot hugs your foot like a second skin. The 100 Racing last with its fitted shape delivers maximum foot support and precision.

Fine-tuning is handled by the patented, separate Quicklace™ technology: depending on which part of the lacing you pull, you adjust the lower (forefoot) or upper foot area independently. Custom Fit™ combines comfort foam, thermoformable foam and Lycra® for an ultimate fit with every foot anatomy, while the Double Step-in Strap on tongue and cuff makes opening the boot and stepping in especially easy.

The Classic-Flex chassis provides good forefoot flexion for classic technique and a stiff rear section – the perfect ratio of torsional stiffness and flexion for stability, control and power transfer. The Racing insole adds comfort, support and direct power transmission, and at just 770 g the boot stays pleasantly light.
