Alpine Hemp is the result of an extensive research and development program and has been extensively tested by climbers, professional athletes and mountain guides. Hemp caught Salewa's interest due to its natural comfort, functional performance and environmental friendliness. The fiber can absorb up to 30% moisture without feeling damp on the skin. Most importantly, hemp is the strongest and most durable natural fiber known to man.
