The answer: the Westalpen softshell pants for men, whose innovative material mix with merino wool combines robustness and breathability. One hundred percent reliability, for full focus on the mountain. The material mix of elastic Merino Naturetec and robust inserts made of Merino Naturetec Rips in the knee area makes the trousers extremely durable, breathable and comfortable. Merino wool on the inside ensures a comfortable fit, while the firm woven structure on the outside is wind and water-repellent. Particularly smart: the quick-gaiter system that completely replaces a gaiter. The hem can be adjusted quickly and easily via a tunnel construction, so that it fits seamlessly onto the mountain boot. A step loop made of abrasion-resistant Dyneema® and a hook for the shoelace keep the pants in place while walking. Other features thought out for alpinists include the edge protection made of Dyneema®-Cordura®, the side ventilation zippers, the pre-shaped knee area and the width-adjustable waistband.
