Alpine weather protection - inspired by an Italian legendThis jacket is named after the virtuoso alpinist Emilio Comici, who was probably one of the greatest climbers of his generation. The Comici Route (1933) on the perfectly Smooth-looking north face of the Großer Zinne is probably the most famous route in the Dolomites. We manufacture the Comici jacket from an innovative, welded AlpineWool® softshell material that does not let wind through. The wool used inside is a pleasant additional insulation. Another protective layer is the 100% PFC-free, permanently water-repellent DWR finish. The welded elements and the few seams contribute to a clean look.
AlpineWool® Softshell: Stormwall is a Breathable softshell material with a robust exterior, against which snow and moisture have no chance. The inside with an integrated windbreak membrane, on the other hand, allows sweat and water vapor to escape easily so that you stay warm and dry. The mechanical four-way stretch gives you unrestricted freedom of movement on technical terrain. AlpineWool® is made from wool from mountain sheep and then mixed with polyester yarn.
Made for the mountains: The Comici jacket is especially suitable for mountain conditions. Features such as the special cut ensure optimum freedom of movement - without the hem sliding up when climbing - and the ergonomic sleeves and shoulders that do not hinder you when you reach up high. Thanks to its ergonomic shape, the storm hood with a pre-formed peak fits over a climbing helmet and can be easily and quickly adjusted at the back with one hand. In addition, the jacket has two zipped chest pockets, adjustable cuffs with Velcro and an adjustable elastic band at the hem, so that the cold stays outSide and the warmth stays inside, depending on your needs.
