The Salewa Expedition Sock is a fast-drying, padded sock with extra-fine merino wool and Reistex® performance yarns for alpine expeditions. The insulating, absorbent and moisture-wicking French Terry knit material is largely made of soft merino wool. Resistex® Bioceramic offers high thermal protection even in extremely cold conditions. In addition, the polyester fibers treated with bioceramic crystals regulate body temperature by reflecting the radiated body heat in the form of FIR (Far InfraRed) rays. The Resistex® Copper yarns also offer high thermal conductivity and are antibacterial.
