Salewa Ortles Am Jacket Women - The Ortles Alpine Wool Mid Layer women's jacket, named after the highest mountain in the Eastern Alps outside the Bernina Group, is a light and breathable hybrid softshell jacket for ski and mountaineering tours.
Alpine merino with body mapping design: For this jacket, Salewa uses a hybrid thermal knitted fabric made from merino and polywool fibers, which is not only warm, but also dries quickly and is pleasant to the touch. The sporty fit is based on a body mapping design, in which different areas of the upper body are provided with specific insulation levels.
Stretch comfort: The addition of elastane fibers gives the fabric a mechanical 4-way stretch comfort, the ergonomic Sleeve and shoulder design improves freedom of movement. A Polarlite wool Cordura blend is used in the shoulder and sleeve areas to protect against tears, scratches and abrasion. Salewa uses a soft inner lining for the collar, which further improves wearing comfort. The elastic cuffs with thumb loops provide additional protection in cold weather, and both outer pockets have zips.
