Salewa Ortles Rappel Master Cord 6mm - The Ortles Rappel Master consists of a hybrid construction: Polyethylene is used in the core, which has a high molecular weight (UHMW). The material – also known as high-strength PE for convenience – is lighter and stronger than steel and Kevlar and has a high breaking strength of over 15 kilonewtons (Kn). We use robust polyamide in the protective jacket. This combination ensures an ideal ratio between strength and weight, ensures excellent knotability and impresses with high UV resistance.

The Ortles Rappes Master cord is ideal for rappelling or as a 40 or 60 meter rope for emergencies. The cord is stored compactly in the backpack in the roll-top compression bag.
