Mosquito is the lightest climbing harness that Wild Country has ever produced . Specially designed for sport climbing, its excellent fit offers maximum comfort, flexibility and freedom of movement. The weight-saving hip belt construction is characterized by an integrated, load-bearing webbing that distributes the load evenly over the entire belt structure. The combination of the super-light mesh padding and the robust, quick-drying and at the same time abrasion-resistant cover, which feels soft and supple thanks to the seamless transitions, also ensures excellent wearing comfort.
This climbing harness is specially designed for optimal freedom of movement. Its simple construction adapts to your body to give you maximum unrestricted flexibility when climbing. A special safety feature is the wear indicator on the lower tie-in point, which Wild Country has used since the 1990s. The red threads, which only become visible through intensive wear and tear, clearly indicate when it is time to replace the belt.
The Mosquito is equipped with extra-light gear loops: one plastic-reinforced gear on each side -loop in front and a softer loop behind. The front gear loops are designed in such a way that your quickdraw sets have some distance from the harness so that they can be grabbed and removed more quickly when climbing. There is also a loop in the center at the back of the belt, which can be used to attach a chalk bag, for example.
The Mosquito is fastened with a stylish aluminum buckle in typical Wild Country orange. Thanks to the comfortable fit in the hip area and the light but at the same time supportive leg loops, the sports climbing harness is guaranteed to fit like a glove.
